Valerie’s 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry commenced in 1989 when, after some years spent developing her musical interests, she joined Wyatt PFS in London to run their administration, involved largely in life and pensions. When Watsons later merged with Wyatt, she moved to their office at Reigate where she ran their annuities bureau. After that she moved to Buck Consultants in London with Jonathan Walne, where she continued to develop her life and pensions expertise, before they both left in 2000 to form their own team at what is now the PFP Group.
Valerie is now a consultant specialising in life assurance and retirement planning, and is involved with a broad spectrum of clients from office workers to landowners.
She lives in Sussex with her husband, and her interests include solo lieder and oratorio singing, dance, travel, languages, antiques and tall-ship sailing. She also holds a brown belt in karate.
