Partner and Financial Adviser
Doug joined PFP Financial Planning in May 2003 following 4 years with a specialist IFA based in the City of London. Prior to that Doug was based in the North West of England having worked initially for a number of life assurance companies before joining a national firm of financial advisers based in Manchester.
Doug has a degree in business studies and is an associate of the chartered insurance institute (ACII). In addition, Doug holds the advanced diploma in financial planning (APFS) and is a Chartered Financial Planner.
Doug’s work covers all aspects of financial planning for high net worth clients including investment, retirement and tax planning. He particularly enjoys simplifying clients existing complicated affairs so they know what they have and where they are going.
Doug is married and lives in leafy Surrey with his wife, 2 year old son and 18 year old cat, but keeps his links with the North West through his support of Manchester City.
Away from work Doug tries to keep fit by playing football (occasionally), golf (when it’s warm) and he is running the 2010 Virgin London Marathon on behalf of The Anthony Nolan Trust. www.justgiving.com/Doug-Pritchard
